🚗 Is parking available?
Yes! Parking is available in the main lot off 22nd Street, along Rio Blanco, and in the north parking lot off 29th Street. Plan to arrive a little early so you can find a spot, get settled, and make your way to the start line stress-free!

🎁 Am I guaranteed swag?
To lock in this year’s swag, make sure you’re registered by April 17th! We do order extras, and you’ll be able to see what’s still available during registration. If something runs out, don’t worry—we’ll have other fun swag options ready to go.
🌱 Bonus: The first 25 participants/families to register will score a tree seedling!

📲 Is there race day registration?
Yes! Registration is online only. If you’d like to pay with cash or check, no problem—just stop by and see one of our awesome volunteers and they’ll help you get signed up.

Loveland Liberty

For the 12th year, the Loveland Liberty 5K, hosted by Sweetheart City Racing, will take place on July 4 at Grimm Brothers Brewhouse. The event begins at 8:00 a.m. and welcomes both runners and walkers.

We are proud to support Health4Heroes. Please visit their links below and be sure to stop by their booth on race day.

The race will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, as space is limited, and to help ensure an on-time start.

The Elite wave will begin at 8:00 a.m. If you can run a 5K in under 24 minutes for men or under 26 minutes for women, be sure to sign up for the Elite division.

Also returning this year is the Kids Race. Children from toddlers through elementary age will have the chance to run approximately 100 yards and cross the finish line. More details will be coming soon.

Race First Stop (FAQ)

Is parking available?
Yes! There is plenty of parking available on the north side of the building at Grimm Brothers Brewhouse. Portions of the south lot (near the main entrance) will be blocked off for the race. Please follow posted signage and volunteer directions to designated parking areas.

Am I guaranteed a shirt?
To guarantee your race shirt, you must register by June 18th. We do order extras, and available inventory will be shown during registration. If shirts run out, we’ll have other great swag options available.

Is there race day registration?
Yes! All registration is online, including race day. If you’d like to pay with cash or check, please see a volunteer for assistance.

Will the race be canceled due to weather?
No—we race rain or shine!
In the rare case of lightning, the event may be delayed for safety, but the likelihood is very low.

Packet Pickup

  • Pre-Race Pickup: July 3rd, 5:00–6:30 PM at Grimm Brothers Brewhouse

  • Race Day Pickup: Begins at 7:00 AM at the event area

We highly encourage picking up your packet on July 3rd to avoid race morning lines.
Packets and shirts will not be available once the race has started.

Are scooters, bikes, or rollerblades allowed?
For the safety of all participants, scooters, bikes, rollerblades, and skates are not allowed on the course.

We love having kids participate! If your child is too young for the 5K, check out our “Littles” Race (~100 yards), starting around 9:15 AM, immediately following the Elite race.
Awards will follow the Littles race.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes—dogs are welcome, but must be well-behaved and leashed at all times.

  • Leashes must be 5 feet or shorter

  • Any off-leash dogs will result in disqualification

  • Please be mindful of other participants to avoid tripping hazards

Honey Bee Hustle

Are you ready to challenge yourself? We will have a .80-mile loop open for 1 ½ hrs. Who can run the most loops in 1 ½ hrs? Who can run the fastest? We will have awards for different categories. Come challenge yourself at the Honey Festival while running the Honey Bee Challenge! 

This year we are adding a Mini Honey Bee Hustle for kids ages 10 and under. They will have 30 minutes to run as many loops as possible.

There will be a lot of fun activities happening throughout the morning! There will be live music, the Honey Festival will be happening all morning, the Farmer’s Market will be open and so much more! We are working with the Loveland Parks and Rec to bring this fun and new challenge to Loveland!

We will have a “SWEET'“ lineup of finish-line food waiting for you when you finish your hustle.

Race First Stop:

  1. Do I have to run? You can run OR walk as many loops as you want, you have 1 ½ hrs to complete your challenge!

  2. Start time: Mass start begins at 10am. The course closes at 11:30am. 

  3. Do I have to run/walk the whole time? No. You can choose to stop when you want. But this is a challenge, so we encourage you to push yourself if you can!

  4. Is there food when I finish? YES! We will have honey-themed food waiting for you when you finish. All things SWEET as HONEY.

  5. Packet Pickup: You can pick up your packet at the venue before the challenge begins.

Bell Ringer 2-Miler

Our community is the only city in the nation to follow the old tradition of ringing bells throughout the town in the early morning hours of Veteran’s Day. This race will mimic some of those old traditions to honor our nation's veteran community. We are honored to be part of this 2-Mile event and look forward to the engagement of the families in Loveland. This event benefits Post 2000, which is created a Loveland Colorado Veteran's Assistance program.

We have a new start time for the Bell Ringer!! We will now be starting at 9am in the morning! Come start your day off with us for the 2-mile around the lake route.

This year the girls that are part of the BStrong BFit program will be returning. Their race will now start at 9am! We are thrilled to have them join us again. Cheer them on and hollar an encouraging word if you see them running. They will be training for 8 weeks to run a 2-mile route designed just for them.

2-Mile Route

Race First Stop:

  1. Is parking available? Yes. There is parking in the parking lots at the park. There is a parking lot off 29th at Loveland High School. There is LIMITED parking at North Lake Park.

  2. Am I guaranteed a water bottle? To be guaranteed a water bottle you must register by October 25th. We always order extras and you will see the inventory when you register. We always have other swag available if we run out.

  3. Is there race day registration? Yes. ALL registration is online. The price goes up on race day. Please see the pricing on the registration link.

  4. Is there a pre-race day packet pickup? Yes! You can come to TBD, on Nov 8th, 5:00-6:00pm to pick up your packet. If you miss it, you can get yours 45 min before the race begins on Saturday.

  5. Will you cancel the race if it’s cold, snowing, windy, or rainy? No. We will hold the event rain or shine. Lightening will delay the event, but that chance is very, VERY slim.

Many people still do not know about the tradition of the Bell Ringers and why that is why the race on Nov 5th is called, Bell Ringer 4-miler. Huffin for Stuffin

Come join us on Thanksgiving morning for a 2-mile fun run! The event will be held at Mehaffey Park. We will have a fun course, music, vendors, and more! Come dressed in your best Turkey Day outfit. Every participant will receive a memorable campfire mug and bib. Shirts can be added on during registration. This event will benefit KidsPak. We will be accepting food and money donations to help fill their shelves and a portion of the proceeds will go to them too.

Race Stop below answers a lot of questions about the event. Please scroll down to see frequently answered questions. The run starts at 8am with the start line open until 8:30am. Feel free to hang out and cheer on others after you finish. We will have some stuffin’ for you at the finish.

Race First Stop:

  1. Am I guaranteed a mug? Yes, but you must be registered by Nov 1st. After Nov 1st, it will be on a first-come basis. Inventory will be in Run Sign Up. If we run out you can choose the option to donate to KidsPak. After the run is over and virtual packets are filled, then any mugs not picked up will be up for grabs if you didn’t get one.

  2. Is there early packet pickup? Yes! Packets will be avaiable, Wednesday, the night before Thanksgiving, 4-6pm at Ziggi’s Coffee, 691 Split Rock Dr, Loveland CO 80537.

  3. What time is race day packet pickup? You can pick up your packets starting at 7:15am at the park. The run will start promptly at 8am. If you miss the mass start, you can come and begin your run up until 8:30am. The start line is open 8-8:30am.

  4. How do I get my virtual packet? If you chose this option we will reach out with shipping costs so you can pay the fee. We will ship them by the following Monday. You can contact us for a porch pickup or, we will take it to a local sponsor the following week for pickup.

  5. Can I bring my dog? Yes! We are very dog-friendly. We just ask that your dog is well-behaved, keep your dog leashed (6ft or shorter), and don’t impede other runners with a long leash.

  6. Is the course stroller-friendly? Yes! It’s on the paved paths throughout the park. Please start towards the back of the pack. (We made a slight adjustment to the start because of all the awesome folks coming out). The first 50(ish) feet is on grass. The rest is paved.

  7. Keep in mind, Huffin for Stuffin is a Fun Run/Walk, which means we do not officially time the race. There will be a running clock at the finish line so you can see your approximate time.

  8. Please bring food and money donations for KidsPak! We are helping them to raise funds to fill their shelves! They help so many children in our community. They need canned ravioli, canned spaghetting sauce, boxed mac n cheese, granola bars, etc. No glass containers or expired items.

Christmas time is such a joyous season! We could not help ourselves but put on this amazing race again for 2025 in partnership with Realities for Children. The Toy Drop 5K, 10K, and 15K will be held on December 6, 2025. How much fun will it be to take a run through our incredible city roads and bike paths, and donate a toy to a great cause! Realities for Children serves kids in Larimer County who have suffered abuse, neglect, or are at-risk (like being homeless). They partner with 38 other agencies who serve the same population and provides them with emergency funds, necessary items, activities for their kids, outreach, etc. They are able to distribute to the agencies and kids, 100% of what is donated to them because they have a unique model of being funded by 250+ local business members. We could not be more excited to link arms with Realities for Children to host the Toy Drop 5K, 10K and 15K again for 2025!

Don’t forget to bring a NEW, unwrapped toy to the start line! You will be able to “drop” them as you take off running! We want to fill Berniece again this year.

Start times: 15K and 5K start at 9am and the 10K will start at 9:05am.

Event First Stop:

  1. You will be able to pick up your packet for the event at your “start” time, at CO Coffee. You will pick up your packet then go to the bars in any order your choose. You will receive your coaster, card, giveaway tickets, etc, when you arrive at CO Coffee. Packet pickup ends at 4:30pm. VIP’s start time is 3pm, and General Admission is 4pm. Packet pickup will end for both events at 4:30pm.

  2. You will take your “bib” aka as your card, to each bar, in any order, and they will punch it when you get your wine or beer. There are specific beers and wine served at each bar for this event. Feel free to purchase other drinks!

  3. The ‘finish” line is at Backyard Tap, where we will hold the giveaways.

  4. There is no running involved. We love using the play-on words that tie in with our running events.

For the 7th year, we are excited to bring back this incredible trail race hosted at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. This beautiful private ranch provides a one-of-a-kind race experience with stunning scenery and challenging terrain.

Runners will enjoy exclusive access to the trails at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, where the views alone are worth the run. The course features a variety of terrain that will challenge and inspire runners of all abilities.

Race Distances

Participants can choose from six race options:

Friday Evening

  • 10K – 5:00 PM

  • 5K – 5:30 PM

Saturday Morning

  • 12-Hour Solo

  • 12-Hour Relay (2-person or 4-person teams)

  • 6-Hour

  • 4-Hour

Saturday races all start at 7:00 AM.

Ranch Access

Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch requires a $5 ranch access fee per person, per day for anyone entering the property (participants and spectators).

Meals

All runners receive one meal ticket. This includes a burger, chips, a cookie, and a drink. Post-race refreshments include beer and Coke products/non-alcoholic options.

Additional meal tickets can be purchased for:

  • Friends or family attending

  • Runners who want an extra meal

12-Hour Solo runners receive an additional meal ticket.

Available throughout the race:

Relay Team Rules

  • Each team member must complete at least one full lap.

  • The fastest final full lap will be used as a tie-breaker if needed.

Hot Lap

The Hot Lap opens one hour before your race ends.

This option allows runners to complete a partial lap if they do not believe they can finish a full lap before the race cutoff.

Course Closures

  • All runners must be off the course by 7:00 PM on both Friday and Saturday.

  • With 30 minutes remaining in your race, runners will not be allowed to pass the big loop turn and will be directed to the Hot Lap instead.

Course Rules

  • Pacers are not allowed on the course.

  • Anyone without a race bib is not allowed on the course.

  • Earbuds and headphones are not allowed.

Suggested Gear List

  • Trail shoes

  • Tweezers (in case you find a cactus 🌵)

  • Gaiters

  • Water bottle (this is a cupless race)

  • Headlamp

  • Trekking poles

  • Extra socks

  • Possibly an extra pair of shoes (Saturday runners will encounter multiple creek crossings)

  • Any other gear you personally need for your run

Stay at the Ranch

Race First Stop (FAQ)

Parking

Is parking available?
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at the ranch.

  • Friday parking opens at 4:00 PM

  • Saturday parking opens at 6:00 AM

Please do not arrive early. The ranch staff will still be finishing up work and our volunteers will not be in place yet.

Race Shirts

Am I guaranteed a race shirt?
To guarantee a race shirt, you must register by March 10th.

We do order extras, and you will see available inventory when registering. If we run out of shirts, we always have other swag available.

Please note:

  • Packet pickup must happen before your race starts.

  • Any packets not picked up after the start of the race will no longer be available.

  • Shirt colors may vary depending on supply availability.

Cupless Event

We are aiming to be as cupless as possible.

Please bring your own water bottle, hydration pack, or reservoir for the event.

Race Day Registration

Is there race day registration?
No. All registration must be completed online.

Cell service at the ranch is very limited, so we will not be able to process registrations on site.

Registration deadlines:

  • Friday races: Midnight on April 9

  • Saturday races: Midnight on April 10

Weather Policy

Will the race be canceled due to weather?
No. The race will take place rain or shine.

Cold, snow, wind, or rain will not cancel the event.
Lightning may cause a delay, but the likelihood is very slim.

Dogs

Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at this event.

Camping & Lodging

Can I bring an RV or trailer to camp?
No. RVs and trailers are not allowed.

However, you may camp in:

  • Tents

  • Cars

  • Trucks

  • Vans

Camping fees:

  • $25 — General camping

  • $35 — Premium camping near the start/finish area

Camping can be added during registration.

Prefer lodging instead?
You can stay at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, but space is limited and available first-come, first-served.

You can also book additional ranch activities such as:

  • Horseback riding

  • Other guest ranch experiences

Runners participating on Saturday will have access to a designated drop bag area.

Run the Ranch - Training Runs

Choose 1, 2 3 or 4 training runs! You can come and run the course for Run the Ranch. You can run the 10K loop or the 5K loop! Each training run starts at 8am and ends at noon. You will need to bring your own food and water. There will be a sign-in AND a sign-out sheet. It is crucial that you do both. These are the only opportunities to get on these trails unless you are staying in the lodging at the Ranch. This is the perfect way to preview the courses.
